Alrighty, then.. You want an explination, you want an explination? You got one-

I had draw this back when i still had Textiles as a Option Subjcet up for my GCSE's. We where studying plants, and we where going to make a 3D Framework fo one- Something i never did. However, during the contempory designing stage, i had draw this- An early version of my sketchy "HyperStyle", colour included.
... In hindsight, i SHOULD have added the shading AFTER the Colours. BUGGER.

The pre-color shading actually looks quite nice here. (I have a bad habit of doing that myself...^^;) Plus the lighting really looks great as well!

You actually had art classes that assigned projects, then? Lucky. All my high school art teachers had these terribly lenient classes where it was "do whatever you want" and that usually resulted in zero artwork.
Thank God I'm in college art now, I'm going to be working my fingers off! XD

Enough of my ranting, though-- I do like this quite a bit! Must be that awesome sketchy style of yours. =p

Heh, thank you!

Yeah, i wanted to give it a personality of sorts. Baring in mind took MANY Attewmpts to get the result you see here. =P (It's not to say the other ones where bad- It was more me trying out different experiments with the styling of the Colours and the Shading.)

Heh, your not the only person to think that! =P

It was acctualy a Textiles class- A class that i am now no longer a part of. In fact, im acctualy completely off the timetable during that time- Meaning i can leave school and they can't do a damn thing about it. (Which helps, because on fridays i would normaly have textiles during 5th Period- The last period of the day XD)
But i digress.
